She has worked at a Play Therapy Center in Boulder for four years, working with children and teens through play therapy.

Her work is thoughtful, energetic, and deeply grounded. Friends describe her as compassionate, down to earth, fun, centered, accepting, determined, and warm.
Kait’s Story
Kait’s path into counseling grew from a long-standing curiosity about the relationship between mind and body.
She attended Shimer College in Chicago, a small Great Books school where classes were built around Socratic dialogue and primary texts. It was there that her interest in the mind-body divide in Western culture was sparked.
She became fascinated by how deeply the assumption of “mind over body” runs in our culture, and how strongly her own experience contradicted that. This curiosity led her to explore the implications of this divide, especially in relation to health and well-being.
Her senior thesis, Reclaiming Embodiment: Touchy-Feely Strength in the Digital Age, reflected this early commitment to embodiment, awareness, and lived experience.
This foundation continues to inform her work today. Kait’s approach centers the body, the nervous system, relationship, and the wisdom that already exists within each child.
Kait’s Philosophy
At the heart of Kait’s work is a simple belief:
Kids are magic.
They carry an innate intelligence, creativity, and capacity for healing. When they’re given space, context, and relationship, that magic emerges and supports their growth.
Kait is passionate about offering children a place where they can express themselves freely, where all parts of them are welcome, and where their inner world is met with respect.
She sees her role not as an authority over children, but as a supportive, grounded presence who gives them the environment they need to show what’s happening inside and move toward healing.
